Scott Cunningham

Cut2Black Designs is a live event production company owned and operated by Scott Cunningham. At Cut2Black we believe in working with excellence in all that we do as we take your event from the initial concept through to completion. We are passionate about what we do here at C2B as we offer full production design and direction, as well as lighting design, programming and direction.

Scott’s training and experience has been hands on as he grew up in and around live event production management. He trained and worked with local production companies, like Output Unlimited, while growing up in southern Illinois. While studying music business at Greenville College, Scott received an internship at Integrity Lighting and began working with artists immediately. From there, he began his professional career as a lighting director and designer in 2007, and in 2017 officially launched Cut2Black Designs. 

With 20+ years of experience, Scott Cunningham knows, understands and grasps exactly what the client is looking for. His creativity, training and years of experience drives him to go above and beyond expectations to present his clients with an experience like no other. At C2B we are committed to providing our clients with a positive experience that leaves them looking forward to the next project together.

Scott is known for his unique work that is artist specific. He makes sure that the focus of the event portrays the image and message that the artist and client is looking for.  Not only is every element of the production taken into consideration when working with Scott, but also every aspect of the artist, crew and fan experience, as well. 

The thing that is most important to Scott, is the integrity of the event. He takes great pride in creating a live event that every client/artist is ready and eager to put their name on. Scott strives, with each and every client he works with, to create that “once in a lifetime” experience for each and every person in attendance.
